Oven heating systems
All of our ovens can be ordered with a choice of electric or gas heating. Our electric heating units include SCR power controls for smooth ramping, and backup safety contactors for positive disconnect of the heater in case of hi-limit temperature.
TCS Control System
Our ovens come standard with the TCS™ computer thermal control system. The TCS™ system is the worlds most advanced software for composite curing and bonding in autoclaves, ovens, presses, and other equipment.
TCS™ provides virtually unlimited options and features designed to address the requirements of the aerospace and thermal processing customers. Reliability of our control system along with the quality of your part is our top concern, and control by TCS™ is the most proven way of achieving it.

Vacuum Systems
Our composite curing ovens can be ordered with a wide variety of vacuum systems and components. You can select from a multitude of pumps, control receivers, vacuum sources, vacuum probes, and resin traps.
Questions for purchasing an oven:
When purchasing new or used ovens, there are some questions that need answering before you will be able to get a quote that you can count on.
Over the years, we have found that there are several basic questions that we ask all potential clients whether they have been looking already or just starting their search for equipment. These questions are as follows:
- What type of oven?
- Walk in?
- Benchtop?
- Stand mounted?
- Vacuum, (Note: If yes, ASME Code will be followed.)
- What inside clearance dimensions will you need?
- Natural gas or electric heat?
- If electric what voltage?
- What is the maximum operating temperature?
- Direct fired or Indirect fired?
- What types of solvents are being inserted into the oven and how many lbs. per cycle?
(MSDS report is recommended on all solvents used)
- What is the auto ignition temperature of the solvent?
- How many CFM of make up air?
- Will this oven need to be explosion proof?
- What type of controls would you require?
- Chart or digital?
- What is the cure cycle requirements?
- Do you have a degrees/minute air-heating rate?
- Will this oven be used continuously through out the day?
- If not, what percent of the day?
